With arms of magic the city walls bought
A respite from their barricade
Rampart mere shoulder blade and stone could not
Against antique marvels elsewhere made
In arms of magic the treasure vaults wrought
What once ensconced a deified abode
Rich in deed, in proof, and especially in what should not
In this physical world be, only in dream realms show’d
By Arms of magic the dragon king fought
And clashed, recoiled, blazed and slew
Expanding in time and space, victory left naught
Under lands those saurian wings flew
Yet arms of magic and still a world sought
Mountains ever taller recede without cease
Battles beget, yet wars discharge a power caught
Never did nor ever will those arms of magic know peace
